This is Tammy....Allison's friend. Allison wanted me to let you know that she is at the hospital. Her grandmother is very ill. The doctors are not sure if she is going to make it. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Yep, that's exactly what I said...Alberrrrrrt!!!! Last night I made lasagna...okay,I took it out of the box and put it in the oven. Anyway, I gave Abigail some after it had cooled and when she was finished she came into the room where I was (I was on the computer, of course). Well, I finished up and we went back to the kitchen and found Albert with cheese on his nose and head. He knows better than that. He knows he is not suppose to eat people food. He thought he was going to be sneaky and I wouldn't know...but the evidence was there.
My aunt died yesterday morning so I may not post for a few days. But, I will leave you with some interesting facts about me.
See you guys soon!
Lovin' my music. Got a crazy assortment going on but hey, that's me. I do want to mention that the play list contains alot of songs that I have done LOs on. Also the first song playing is for all of my friends out there...because, ya'll are my people!
We have all met because of one passion...scrapbooking. And, I have met some of the most talented, creative, fun, and wonderful people because of our connection through scrapping (Tammy, Marah, Cheryl, Holly, Andrea, kirsty, Kristin, and many, many more). We can't wait to see each other's newest project whether it is a new lay out, a beautiful card, or an altered project. I get tickled pink when I learn of one of you getting on a DT, getting pubbed, or being recognized in some way. We are all in this scrapping thing together so I feel like we have to look out for eachother and support one another. It seems like the friendhips have evolved from a mere passion to friendships of substance. It's not just about scrapbooking anymore. I think we all have genuine concern about one another. We worry about about one another's families, pets, health, mental and emotional states of mind, whether we are traveling, etc. And, the funny thing is...most of us have never even met but yet, there is a real ,true friendship. Thanks everyone for letting me be a part of your lives. Ooops, I didn't mean to get so sentimental...tomorrow I'll make sure I bitch about something..he he.
Baby Albert went for his shots this morning and he walked into that clinic like he owned the place. When he stays there at the"hotel" he usually gets to walk around and do his own thing...no cage for him. He was ready to go home though when it came time to have his temperature taken. Other than that he did great. I love the fact that he doesn't have to be muzzled. He is just such a wonderful dog. He loves children and people. He is pretty laid back until Abigail rides her tricycle through the house and he thinks he has to chase her. And, he has to chase the train that runs in the back of our yard....don't worry, we have a fence so he can't actually get to it. I just have to say I am so proud of Albert and how he has recuperated from his accident. It hasn't taken him long at all to get back to his normal self. He is running and jumping again, and his beautiful sexy hair has grown back. He does have some ataxia in his back leg though. I'm not sure if it eventually go away but we'll see and we are still monitoring him. Man, I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this dog...I guess you figured it out though.
My sweet Albert has to go for his shots tomorrow...poor baby. Wish him good luck...or wish ME good luck (LOL).
I was going to bitch and complain about my crappy day but now I am so excited about Micheal Vick pleading guilty. Hopefully some Pit bull's will be able to sleep in peace tonight. I've been trying to think of ways he should be punished for his horrendous acts but I do not think they are legal. Maybe he should have to do community service at the Humane Society and shovel dog crap all day long. My husband thinks he should be allowed to contiue playing football and have to donate his pay to a charity...hmmm, not a bad idea but he would enjoy it. I do not want him to enjoy ANYTHING. How can you look a dog in the eye and slam it on the ground, electrcute it, or drown it? He is one sick mother f*cker. Okay this is a very emotional and disturbing topic so I stop now.
Tomorrow, hopefully I post more photos of Albert that I took over the weekend...my goofy dog that hates the camera.
Should we at times take a risk and listen to our hearts instead of our heads? Is there any time we should ignore those brains of ours? Well, according to my hubby, you never follow your heart when it involves money. Money is his heart!!!! Okay, so you are wondering where I am going with this. I only wanted to adopt one puppy...not 15! What is the big deal? I wanted to give another Doxie a forever home and lots of love...I didn't want that baby to be afraid anymore. My hubby didn't want to double the food bill and vet bills (get real). And, he wasn't sure how Albert would react to another puppy in the house. Is he for real? Does he think I would not talk to the vet about a situation like this? Okay, so I'm just rambling now. You know, this blog thing could be kind of cool...it will be almost like I am talking to myself.
Hello all in cyberworld...everyone else has a blog so I decided I had to have one too. I am going to give this thing a whirl and see how it goes. Let's just keep in mind that I am very stupid at the computer so I am relying on my friend Tammy alot. She is such an awesome friend!!!! Also, I am going to talk to my friend Kirsty about doing a really cool banner. I have seen what she can do and I was completely wowed! Keep checking back for more to come.
